Yay for the x68! It's like OPM, except I don't have to make my shitty drum patches sound less tinny.
This track is a collab with Kilo that tried to marry the idea of a groove with something more sentimental and even — to us, at least — reminiscent of 80s love scene ballads. The contrasting sections represent the hot and cold moments of a romance experienced in blinding flashes of fire, but that can never quite last.
In sommelier fashion, it is best paired with our other x68 collab, Night Shift, envisioned in part as a connected arc or chapter of the same persona's purview.
