i've heard a lot of emo music lately like this actually where they use vocaloid instead. is this its own subgenre? 🤔
the writing is awesome through and through - solid progression, huge blasts of energy, emotional as heck. but i personally find the crunch from the distortion often too loud and sometimes unwarranted esp on the drums. that one clean phrase like 4.5min in was perfect though imo
