Well.. uh.. thanks, I guess. I am not sure I understood most of that. I think you were mocking me for using 4/4 and a simple drum .. but I rather put ENERGY in music than complicated beats or stuff .. concentrating on those things would make me put less energy in the song itself. And anyway, my main point in making music is melody anyway .. so I usually just create some kind of background so I can compose some nice melody. And this song is not about complicated beats - I have tried all kinds of different rhythms and comps and beats in my time, and I have arrived to simplicity after all that complication that wasn't really improving my songs energetically or even musically anyway .. So I don't care if I use cliches in the basslines or simple beats as long as I get ENERGY and nice melody involved in a song.
Argh, that avatar is really a stain, as you said :) Can't stand it!!
You see, sometimes "making any kind of music with a chip" can be considered trickery, which always leads away from the path of love and soul that can be put in a production. When you pour your finest self in a production, then there's really something magical about it, no matter what musicstyle it represents. But if you concentrate too much on the style, you get distracted and miss the energy and can't really put your finest self in it anymore...
But it's this time of materialism that people have forgotten the energy, wisdom and soul .. and they just try to please others with all kinds of materialistic manipulation of stuff .. I don't care so much for effects or instruments or beats - I only care what _I_ think is important for the creation. Soul/Energy is always first, then melody .. then the rest. This tune was made half-jokingly, out of pure joy and fun and some inspiring experimentation ... I hope you can hear it from the tune.
