I think you're supposed to upload a .fur file for this format! Maybe a site admin (ping @leftenant on discord) can help you add that?

I think the mixing isn't that bad -- the drums could be a bit louder, maybe the chords could be quieter to make room for them and the melody. Panning might help widen the mix a bit too.

The sound effects and filter sweeps around 2:20 are pretty cool!

ah ok. will it come with a sound file too even if i just upload the .fur? it only lets me upload one file so i figured if i wanted to have the sound preview id only be able to upload the wav

Agargara's right, with the Furnace format, you need to submit the source file as a .fur, and after the fact you can submit a render of the file. The process can be a bit confusing at first. The Lyceum articles for each format have details on acceptable file types for that format, so in this case the entry is illegal (and unfortunately entry period is closed for resubmissions)

That being said, nice tune, I enjoyed the sort of cyberpunk-y feel of it!

this feels like - when the sun has gone down and the city is dark and not necessarily dangerous but just crowded and stressful and oppressive, and the hero has to walk around the city streets with their hands in their pockets and their head down so their hair falls in front of their face, and maybe like - stops for a second on a bluff overlooking the city and just stares out at it for a bit. 🌃

it's a shame it's illegal! don't worry, everybody messes up submissions sometimes, especially the first few time.
