The title theme really gets your attention. My second favorite track in the bunch is probably the Forest theme (I think). I really like the rhythmic component there. Hihat clusters ftw.

For some reason that map tune really hits me in a nostalgic kind of way. I liked that way more than I should have.

Though I am going to add that I don't think you should upload soundtracks. This was just too much for one listen-through!
Not to imply that anything was necessarily bad, but spend all that time making the separate tracks on really refining one to perfection instead next time. Maybe I'm the only one who thinks this way though.

I have to agree with Kulor, I'd prefer to hearing some of this stuff worked into one flowing song instead of multiple small loops. Sometimes less is more.

I always thought there was some unwritten rule that says multi-song tunes are inappropriate for winterchip. Not that I really mind.

I'd love, however, if we had a Compose-a-short-EP or game soundtrack compo sometime.

I prefer listening to tunes for a while that have a theme or style in common. That's why I usually only queue albums to my playlist rather than single tracks and never ever use shuffle playback mode in winamp.

This entry is like 3xThemeChip on crack. In the future chip compos will have some note about multi-track submissions*. I like miau's idea of a EP/game sndtrck compo but we need OHCs first!
