I am Dutch. In the Netherlands, liquorice is a very popular type of confectionery. It is called 'drop' here. I took some drop and dropped it onto various surfaces, recording the impact sounds. I aggregated different recordings to create a bass drum, snare drum and cymbal sample. I then created a beat drop with it:

This track was made in TTRAK, an Atari ST tracker that is still in beta. I did not use the DMA (it isn't even possible to do so yet in the latest release) so it is ST compatible. TTRAK has several innovations, and as such you might hear sounds you've never heard before in this format.
IMPORTANT: this tune does not play correctly in JAM. Listen to the MP3 or listen to it in SNDPlay on Atari. I tested it on hardware and in Hatari, I think Steem works fine as well.
