Can you tell us your process for making this? Are the drums sequenced (tracker / piano roll), played live, or a bit of both?

I used FL Studio 12, which is a DAW (with piano roll, etc.). I only used the sound sources provided in the pack, because that's what a rule in the remix catogory. Luckily, in that pack the Funk Drummer breakbeat from James Brown was included. So technically they are live, but they are just samples which I edited a little to make it more smoother and without the voice. Also edited the pitch and some other minor things a little for better smoothness so people wouldn't notice I cut the samples in parts and glued them toghether. Did that with Edison and then exported as samples.

If anything I wish there was maybe slightly more variation tonal-wise - I really enjoy the loop you have going, but after 4 minutes it starts to wear just slightly!
Apart from that this is definitely one of my favourite entries :)
