Just had to deal with that exact thing.
I had friends of a decade drift so far apart, I felt the need to ask if we were still friends. In the end, due to their indecisiveness, I decided it would be best to split.
We'd spent too much time apart, and the only thing that held us together were nostalgic old memories. With how forgetful I'd started to become, it was awkward and painful whenever we did meet up, and was often cut short by life problems.
I hate having to make choices like that, but at least we still have good memories.
Really nice song. It hit home exactly what I've been feeling lately, and most of the reason I never finished my song. I couldn't find time or motivation to be as joyous as I wished to be.

Nice mix of sounds. The dynamics of the bass cuts instead of all hanging notes feel perfect here, as does the panning. Nice stuff!
