Is it me or is that bass seriously detuned? It adds an interesting effect, but I had to put on headphones to really get an idea of what it was that could be causing that distortion...

That's just how the POKEY works

yep. with Pokey you can usually either choose to stay away from the most detuned notes (which can be rather challenging) or pretend that there is no detune and roll with it ;P

neat story of how you get invole with RMT, since i didnt upload my track (cuz i didnt finished), here is my store of how i get involed with RMT.
I meet botb long ago, but was in the first 3xTheme Chip battle that i meet RMT. The person who recomend me this tracker was Captainmarmalade. So i take a look into the tracker and afer few fails on the setting, i did my first track. I also meet SAP ARCHIVE wich inspire me to try it a bit before meet the track, full of fun till the end of times. Sorry that i didnt upload my track.
