Originally broadcast from 1982 - 1983, "コンピューターの謎" ("Computer's Mystery") billed itself as a step forward in animation -- the first series ever to be fully produced on a Commodore VIC-20. Although the technical novelty drew viewers at first, interest fell off quickly: the blocky resolution and inability to include spoken dialogue rendered the plot entirely incomprehensible. Ultimately, much of the series was lost to time and shoddy archiving, with only a couple episodes, a handful of stills, and the opening theme song surviving.
