Introducing
BOTB: Chippy Tunes
We imitate the magnificent and as silly orchestra music we hear in the classic, mid-design and late 90s cartoons
Which means, the idea of a monthly battle is composing silly, goofy, looney, funny and as stunning orchestal cartoon musics but it's old computer and video game consoles style. So, we will use trackers.
This could be 50s mid-design light music (ex; High Heels by Trevor Duncan, A Canadian in Mayfair by Angela Morley, album of Music for TV Dinners and so on) or could be 90s WB's cartoons style (ex; Coyote and Road Runner or Steven Spielberg's cartoons like Animaniacs) or maybe could even be a combination of cartoon music style with other styles (ex: only example that comes to mind for now is Oggy and the Cockroaches season 1 and 2 musics by Hugues Le Bars)
If I were to give examples from video games, here are some examples: Plok on SNES, Conker's Bad Fur Day on N64
Corker's Bad Fur Day's some musics like Animaniacs style i mentioned before example and this is so cool, so looney. Plok's musics so perfect, this is the best example of a cartoon orchestra style made with the limitations of the SNES.
