I originally planned to make this a demo of my modified DevSound engine but due to DevEd's intro, my pc-x801 entry and midterm exam I didn't have enough time to do it. So what I could only do is just submit a Deflemask version of it... Ported to DevSound. Thanks for the extension!

Render is recorded from my GBA.

You are a great composer! This, and many of your other tracks, grasps my attention, and it's always worth it. This is one of my favorite Gameboy tracks so far, it's full of emotions.

Sounds stellar pigu, really expressive melodies. This is ripe for a dnb remix (You kind of almost have those vibes going on in that last double time section around 4:40). That bridge arp melody around :50 is classic, I always like the way that phrase resolves. Awesome wave work in the breakdown around 3:15. And hey now you have enough time to convert and resubmit!

@b00daw uh was there a heroquest game? I just remember the board game. And the BardickBroadcast video to go along with it.

Man, this really is a delight to listen to, from the composition (I'm a sucker for the 2hu melodies I guess) to the nice little technical bits like the bass wobble thing and the wav echo part. Probably my favorite track coming out of this compo, I've already been repeat-listening to it a bunch ^^

@SiameseDeluxe: I think b00daw's referring to the unreleased Hero Quest NES game, which Neil Baldwin did the music to. There's a nice write-up about the music on his blog
:)
