oh my gosh
***UPDATE on 2/25***
Had some patch changes within one module that didn't make it over to the final module, creating some unwanted bits of noise in the final section. Now fixed! Probably wouldn't have a huge impact on any votes already, but wanted to let folks know.

"if i mention wanting to do a large-module collab again, please drive to pittsburgh and run me down with your (or any) vehicle"
-haberchuck to kilo
To clarify, all the collaborators were great and I appreciate their hard work immensely! That said, the process is tedious, prone to errors, and every odd brush of the hand against your keyboard feels like it mystically populates the module with debilitating effect commands in little pockets you least expect.
In short, this submission imagines the BotB experience as a PC-98-era visual novel, each moment accompanied by its own tune. Here is the track listing:
0. Title Screen — haberchuck
1. Lurking — kilo
2. RENDER AND SUBMIT! (Two-Minute Warning) — Kaytse
3. Spirit of Hearts (Positive Aura Shift) — dami
4. Lord of Skulls (Critical Aura Shift) — big lumby
5. Boonloss — Bingies24
6. Decree of the Sluts — syntheticgoddess
7. Goldbat — Dippy
8. Level Up! — fortuna0800

To create this entry, we all shared a base module with about two dozen instrument patches, mostly FM, and wrote our parts, which were then copied one by one into the main module. Several gazillion effect-canceling commands later (0400, 0A00, EA00, 0300, 0803, 0700, 0P80) the final piece came together.
The .s98 was then exported and an mp3 rendered via foobar, albeit at a reduced bitrate to fit the maximum BotB file size.

"How the hell do I vote on this thing?"
A fair question brought up by kleeder following some big collaborations submitted earlier in the entry period. I would offer the following permutations for voting:
*Hold steady!*
However it is you vote, try your best to disregard that a lot of people contributed to the project and vote as you normally would if it were a single track. Ultimately, it *is* just one track — except, like, a quarter-hour long.
*Sum of its parts*
Treat each part like an OHB and give it a 1-7. Then generate the average and approximate it best you can via the voting criteria.
*7s across the board!*
We worked really hard. Don't we deserve it?!
*1s across the board!*
We made you listen to it. Now is your chance for retribution. You are righteous and the power is yours.
