i... did not have a very good time "learning" (if you can even call it that) to use this. it is pretty far gone from how i've ever conceived of making music. but i'd been wanting to try it and i'm glad i did. it took me hours to even get sounds to happen beyond attaching my midi keyboard to an instrument (this was my first mission and it turned out to be useless for this sort of purpose), and i never quite succeeded at getting the sounds i wanted... but at least i managed to squeak out something spooky in the end 😓 something lurks in the fog... something unnatural

perhaps i will return to vcv, as to shore up a great weakness. i really struggled the whole way through... i mean i barely understand how notes are happening, i was like "where is the music data!?"
