Here is something I made using 7 bit PCM in Deflemask. The first half has kind of a medieval Celtic vibe with a crisp hip hop back beat, while the second half speeds up into a more common 8 bit heroic chip rock fare. I am not quite sure how well the 2 ideas blend together, but I hope it isn't too jarring and you guys find this enjoyable. I am not 100 percent sure if the NSF works, but if all else fails you mods can feel free to move it to the wild chip section :). Thanks for listening guys <3.

I think the ideas blend together perfectly man, great job. Wicked transition to the more megaman-ish rock part, that rules.

You'd figure they sent Jredd to the past in the Middle Ages with a computer and a NES to write these awesome chilptic tunes

Holy smokes. This is really really cool.
Instant favorite because it hits that travel/adventure feel with empowering megaman-esque vibes really well.

Kinda wish the celtic/folk inspired ideas were taken a little further, but nice entry nonetheless

That's fair. Most people that listened to this their first time didn't expect the rockin' double time switch up in the second half. Not even I did when I was writing it, so it's no wonder some may find it more jarring than others :). Sometimes one of my ideas losses a bit of steam so to try and keep it fresh I'll switch to another. I'm glad you enjoyed it either way though dude. I'm a huge fan of your work myself :).

I sort of like the first half a bit more than the second and think the transition seems a little out of place. Still pretty rockin' overall though.

man, that first part is so cool, but that second part is such a nice twist, too. I really like bridges or verses that change the song
