I wanted to practice for a speed composing jam I am hosting next week so I wrote this song in about 2 ish hours, maybe a little bit more, not sure. It uses samples from the SNES Doom soundfont (which is the explanation for the pretty atrocious drums!!!). I didn'treally know what I wanted to make before hand so I sort of went with a stream of consciousness approach and it turned into this retro RPG boss fight thingy. It is designed to loop seamlessly like all good vgm music should :)

if you're doing allgear it makes more sense to upload mp3 because then it can be played online without needing to upload an additional mp3.

Crap, well i made the song in Caustic 3 on my phone and Caustic doesn't have MP3 export, only OGG WAV and MID :/. I guess I will just export to wav then convert to mp3, that would be the next best thing...

It started out pretty strong, but around halfway through you lost me a bit tbh. Maybe for a quick jam, it's better not to introduce too many new ideas. But what do I know.

In all fairness this isn't exactly my best composition, I made a synthwave song recently (in Caustic as well, but using more of the actual synths this time and not just samples) and it is way better :D I wrote it for a doom community project called mayhem purple version, here is a link for the curious
