yessss love that classic breathy metal hit sound - feels like late 90s playstation era industrial techno, which is one of the things my childhood is steeped in.

could just be my speaker setup, but it feels like the bass from the snare is kind of muddying the waters - might've been nice to tighten that up so it's more hitting on the high end of things? the bass from the kick is already nice and snappy.

also I like the full-on synth string? choir? that comes in at 1:30, really fills things out.

Thank You for the feedback! You are right the tone being low on the snare was really giving me issues. I pumped it up to make it more audible, but I think a higher tone mix like you suggest would be the better solution.

While I wouldnt really rank this high on the "darkness" spectrum, I also wouldnt request you change anything about this vibe you have going here.
Especially, there is a very pleasent pad chord bit at around 0:46 that I really love!
