my second entry for WCXI :D
This track was made on Cubase 5. It simulates my fictional soundchip named DrDevil-2001 (DD-01).
The DD-01 has:
- 4 PCM channels (128kb sound ram, 32khz sample rate, 16-bit bit rate)
- 4 FM channels (4 operators)
- 4 PSG channels (square, noise)
The drums are taken from the 80s Disco drumkit on Nexus. The bass guitar is from Mega Man 8. The harp is from Super Monkey Ball: Touch & Roll. I can't remember what games I took the FM patches from.

The section from 0:19 - 0:24 sounds a bit too empty. It'd be nice if the lead instrument had a little more to play, & I think it would fit perfect in that empty section. The percussion sounds really great, & I love that bass. Nice FM chords too.

Thanks for your feedback! I suppose it sounds empty because it was kinda rushed and of course, channel limitations. To be honest, the FM chord solo also seems a bit empty too.
I'm slowly working on a DrDevil-2011 (another fictitious chip) track! I may make more DD-01 stuff, too.
On a side note, I can't believe this track has 9 favorites! (excluding my own, but that was automatic)
