a logic puzzle heavily inspired by nikoli, being a rather straightforward variation of their well-known kuromasu/kurodoko puzzles. the name is an abbreviation of nikoli's full name for this puzzle, "kuromasu wa doko desu ka?" meaning "where are the shaded cells?"
there are 14 puzzles of varying difficulty. puzzles are not sorted by difficulty, and even a small one can present quite a challenge, so if you get stuck on one, try another puzzle. you might discover something that you can go back and use!
i didn't enlist anyone's help to test these (except #08 which i was worried might be a little too hard) so there is a very small chance i missed something during testing, but at this point i'm quite confident that every puzzle has a unique solution that can be deduced logically. every cell is either shaded or unshaded, so... where are the shaded cells?
