Heatwaves are infernal

Enjoy this summer story:
In a out of the way plane upon the planet Venus lands a human farmer. Not the only one of his kind to till the soil, but the last one free to roam the sol system. Going from moon to moon, planet to planet, buying what he needs from the interstellar market, he settles down on the surface. On this terraformed planet one side faces an eternal summer, although not as fierce as it once was the heat is certainly an obstacle. Thankfully the farmer's stock is genetically modified to deal with these conditions, the local wildlife are even more adapted, megalodon sharks, giant spiky lizards, and many forms of giant birds as well as the zombified human residents. There's pockets of spiky flora, scattered around some of which are edible and can be a great boost to the livestock. The main obstacle on this world is Belomancer, the wizard of arrows and cool beach towels, he isn't too keen to have some pretender stake a claim on his world. Unlike the other lieutenants, this one seems to be more aggressive and likes to send mostly zombie archers after you. Thankfully the zombies can only come out at "night" when the space mirror blocks the sunlight, and their blazing arrows are easy to spot. Perhaps after the Farmer defeats Belomancer, Venus will be a nice summer vacation stop.
