this loops twice (at around 2:17) and fades out
the songs on the 99vidas game were composed by Rafael Langoni Smith and arranged by me, except this one, which was written entirely by me.
this wasn't used on the game 99vidas due to being too close to Streets of Rage 2's ending theme. just pitching it up by 1 semitone and changing the intro a bit made the trick, though.
however, apparently, that other version wasn't used as well. the song that was intended to replace the demo version of the title screen theme was used instead ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
can't blame them, though, it was probably just unfitting to the game's mood. but here it is, hope you enjoy it!

@th4 D34D: to be fair if it didn't fit the mood then it's alright, at least this is less worse than the game's 16-bit/DAW-ish sound inconsistency lol (the game's demo had songs made in a DAW, which i remade in openMPT with actual 16-bit sounds afterwards, but for whatever reason they didn't replace the demo versions of the song lmao)
also this song sort of had another purpose at that time as well, but i'm not getting into details about that. let's just say that such purpose never deserved any music in the first place ;)
