just an attempt on creating a vgm file with 8x AY-3-8910 - 2 are actually from AY-3-8910, and the other ones are from Yamaha FM chips (YM2203, YM2608 and YM2610) that have AY-3-8910 (YM2149) included in the first 16 registers - so, 24 AY channels simultaneously! ;) - "tracker" used: Geany IDE, on a hexdump (this one: https://pastebin.com/raw/b2GVBjm7 )
