HALLOWEEN!
What is halloween? It is party time! And to make a party, one needs friends.
That is why this is a big collab!
Here is the little story you will hear, you can skip if you don't wanna be spoiled. In the castle, you can hear an organ, as always you might say... Then someone knocks on the front door! It is Dracula! Well, OPM with a costume, and he's followed by Manganoid and Strobe creation, Claffsy the pumkin. Now it is party time, on the dance floor. Then... Knock knock knock... It's Jakerson, with... A ghost thumb?!

this entry is an example of what i'm usually critizing when it comes to big collabs: theres no real direction where the track is going.
the first part is missing some structure and i think some transitions could be done better, but its not too bad. the change to the second part feels random and unfitting imo. i dont really get a spooky feeling out of it either. it sounds more like a nice day at the beach to me.
the story in the description doesnt really help me to create an atmosphere either. if the track continued more in the style of the first half and had re-appearing sections/motifs and strong melodies, it couldve been a lot better. (all the people who worked on this are very skilled composers ;D)
well, i listened to the entry 4 or 5 times now to really get an understanding of what you were aiming for. i think you were probably aiming for something too big- i know how much work it is to manage big collabs with a lot of people, especially within a limited amount of time, and its extremely cool to see so many people i like doing one big thing together...
but i enjoyed more the pure fact of a castle-strobe-opm-jakerson-manganoid-collab rather than the song itself. which is sad, because i really like all your music on their own usually.
also: the pixelart in the description is great!

Whoa cool! Another big collab! That was a strange combination but I love strange things. That groovy part was unexpected but neat. I totally get kleeder's viewpoint but for some reason I find the odd nature of this tune very charming. In any case, I'm glad the compo was extended so that we could hear this :).

Thanks for the constructive comment Kleeder! I pretty agree on the Frankenstein type of track, it was hard to put pieces together, and we mostly worked separatly. I could have do a track like the middle dancefloor part alone, but has you said, it was just fun to do that, I regret nothing personally!
