I have mapped all the paths beforehand. So far we have not chosen a path that ends the story (unless the last choice did...?). When that happens, the series will be done!

So far:
I. Icy cave - (dangerous path) / glowing path
II. Childhood home - fire potion / (ice potion)
III. Confronting a monster - (fight) / sneak away
IV. Strange jungle - path of diamonds / (path of hearts)
V. Camping for the night - (prepare a warm meal) / prepare defenses
VI. Disappearing ruins, poison trap - (use herbs) / escape

wow, so maybe we didn't die last time after all??

or maybe some crazy deus ex machina is going to save us or undo the canon...

But, spoiler: no, we did not. Our hostist got lazy xD

edit: we have survived two possible endings so far. As one example I'll share, if we did not opt to make a warm meal in the 5th one, I had decided we wouldn't have found medicinal herbs and therefore had any way to survive the poison in the next round
