@ Grimkin at the given start-time, a "Bit Pack" link will be made available, and then you have however long to make a song using the Bit Pack as your prompt (usually an hour, occasionally it's 2 or 4, but there's a timer on the screen)
there's a link on the left side to submit your song in whatever the format is - this one was MIDI - and you just upload that before the timer hits 0, or if you upload late you lose points, 'cause we all vote on the songs afterwards
results are usually announced in the botb discord/IRC after everyone has voted that wants to, usually about a half hour? but if you don't wanna be in the chat, they will just show up here after like 20-40 minutes
