i read the lyceum article and as i interpret it i can use any effects as long as i dont draw on it, add pictures or move parts with some select tool.
is this correct or no? id rather not break da rules…

exactly.
take a photo and at most use effects to enhance the taken image, like color correction etc.

sorry but umm i checked the callenge on my ipad earlier this day and the bitpack was absent so i didnt include water :/
hope that isnt too big of an issue...

the bitpack is the whole point of the ohb. if your entry doesnt follow the bitpack, it is considered an illegal submission

edit: and the bitpack appears when the entry period starts
