it's not against the rules or anything to have a "no rules" bitpack, but rules / restrictions are what make a compo fun and interesting.

yea i agree, like i'm not going to enter either way cause it's 4:30 am at the time of writing this (i am going to bed right the fuck after writing this), but at least for me personally i just cant participate in something that's just "no rules" or "make a song"

if i have a prompt or something (bitpack, or a line of text, image, anything) it gives me ideas and those ideas get turned into a full song sooner or later

as someone said (don't remember who), the absence of limitations are the enemy of art and i truly do believe that, limits dont have to be just technological either they can absolutely be mental or psychic limits or w/e you wanna call them lol

i was planning on entering too if the bitpack was interesting enough, you can imagine any chance of that flew out the window upon opening it though lol 😛
