these samples are from the snes version of "faceball 2000", one of the first 3d multiplayer shooters. you were a robot smiley face that roamed around an arena and shot orbs at other robot smiley faces. the soundtrack, by george "the fat man" sanger, is weird as hell but really awesome imo.
