I stay away from the irc, and encourage others to do so, because of power tripping mods who love to belittle you and enforce a hostile and rule-heavy environment which is not fun to be in. A very different environment from the actual site. The discord was quite a bit better as a whole but due to my politics/beliefs I am no longer allowed.

I may need to confer with puke on this.
