In my time zone, many battles are held at dawn, so I miss quite a lot of them. Sometimes I wake up only to find that a battle I wanted to participate in has already ended, because some battles are not announced very far in advance. Have you ever been in a situation like this?

This has been happening to me quite a bit lately, and it’s not just a timezone issue for me, it’s actually more of a “I sleep in a lot” issue and I end up missing battles a few hours after I wake up. I am now writing this at 7 minutes till 10:00 am in my region, so this is pretty early for me. Also lately, some battles are also happening around my family dinner time, so I’m even more discouraged/distracted from entering into minor battles. I really want to though, but today I have to do a job interview, so yeah, life things get in the way and it can be frustrating sometimes. I don’t know how some of you n00bs do it! (or how I’ve done it before) BotB seems to have phases where battles seem more available for me, so I think sometime I can jump into some conveniently scheduled battles, or host one of my own.

yep as kleeder says don't be shy and just ask if you want a battle! I'm happy to host battles in Asia-friendly timezones. I don't host many battles spontaneously because they usually don't get much participation due to said timezone. But if there's a request I can fulfill I will gladly host, pro b00no

i had to wake up at 4 am for that battle i half hosted recently, which wasnt fun :sob:

college is taking all the free time away from me! so many cool battles but so little time... also, i always end up waking up *just* after a celadon battle happened...

started doing slop on Saturdays which has curbed xhb potential. honestly gmt is probably the 2nd best timezone to be because from my understanding most botbrs are EST yanks so most battles tend to be workable for that timezone

one time i hosted a battle so late i fell asleep before it even started so i got scrubbed for that lol

and as we get older, sleep deprivation affects our health more agressively

I miss out on more battles than I'd like, but it's offset by the fact that my favourite ones generally start at a really good time for me (around 8-10pm BST).
